AMU Towers N1, N2, N3 in Ecovillage 1

Aligarh Muslim University(AMU) is one of the central university in India located in Aligarh (UP). Each year, hundreds of student who complete their academics migrate to delhi in search of jobs. One they get a job, there begins a search of a suitable house, in which they can establish a dream home.

AMU Old Boys Sahkaari Awaas Samiti was formulated with objective to have housing complex in NCR for the Aligarians. The AMU Old boys association, 1994-1997 had registered AMU Old Boys Sahkari Avas Samiti Limited, Ghaziabad, UP (Regn. The Samiti has signed an Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) with Supertech Ltd, thereby booking 320 Residential flats in the Residential Project Eco Village - 1, Plot No. - 8, Sector 1, Greater NOIDA of Supertech Limited. The three towers N1, N2 and N3 were booked by the Samiti. Booking of flats can only be done once an individual becomes a member of the samiti. The registration fee to become a member of the Samiti is 25,500. The idea is excellent. The location is good as it is one of the upcoming areas in NCR region, which is also well within reach of middle class income group.

Latest update as of 14th Feb 2011:
Foundation Ceremony took place on 12th Feb in presence of Mr. Mohsin Israeli, Secretary, AMU Avaas Samiti and Mr Khera from Supretech. Almost 200 members were also present and the ceremony was inaugurated by Mr. Mohsin. Mr Khera also spoke few words and assured that the primary objective of Supertech was to provide quality housing to people and they are looking forward to establish a strong bond with the AMU Samiti.
This was followed by Quran Khwani and foundation ceremony. The ceremony ended with a nice lunch served to the members.

Note: There are few issues in the allotment letter that were pointed out by the members of the Samiti. Mr Mohsin has assured that those issues are being discussed with Supertech, and most of them has been sorted out. New allotment letter will be drafted asap which will have maximum issues resolved(Inshaallah).

I have initiated this blog with a sole purpose of knowledge sharing around the project on a common platform. I will keep on updating this blog as and when the updates are received around the three towers N1, N2 and N3 of ecovillage1.
